The Wellsboro Middle School Softball team dropped a pair of games to Wyalusing on Saturday, April 16 on the road.
The Lady Hornets lost the first game 9-3 and the second 6-3. In the first game, Kerrah Clymer had 2 hits and scored 2 runs and Jena Boyce had a hit and scored a run. Ryann Adams and Clymer were on the mound and Adams had a strikeout.
In the second game, Cathryn Brought recorded 9 strikeouts in 6 innings of work, and had a hit. Clymer had a hit, Jessa Lohr had 2 hits and scored a run, Nina Coolidge had a hit, Jayden LaCoe had a hit and scored a run, and Riley Gerges had a hit and scored a run.
The losses drop Wellsboro's record to 1-3. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, April 19 at Cowanesque Valley.
