"Our girls did such a fantastic job tonight," said head coach Darrell Morris. "We came up with a plan for this game and the girls executed it to perfection. They have a great scorer and we held her to 9 points. Jaime and Cathryn did such a great job guarding the ball, and Kayla Mengee, Lauren Singer, Chelsea Morris, Georgia Macensky, and Liza Manning did a fantastic job of playing help defense, getting loose balls, and rebounding. Our offense was solid tonight and Georgia made three huge baskets in the second half. I am so proud of our girls for their great effort, teamwork, and how they played together for each other tonight."
In the B game, Wellsboro won 30-2 to move to 9-1 on the year. Jena Boyce had 8 points, Emma Palmer and Sarah Mosher had 6 points each, Breighanna Kemp and Kylie Butler had 4 points each, and Chelsea English had 2 points.

"I thought tonight we played our best defense of the year," said head coach Jason Greenfield. "We also pushed the ball and were able to score some easy baskets in transition. Everybody played well and it was a great team win."
Wellsboro also won the B game 26-16. Will Poirier had a team-high 10 points and Derrick Bolt scored 6.
Both teams will be back in action on Friday, February 26 against Northeast Bradford.
