Senior Sarah Ingerick and sophomore Lizzie Poirier were named to the Towanda Daily Review's All-Region girls basketball team on Saturday, March 26.
Ingerick was a 1st team selection after leading the Lady Hornets in scoring (309), assists, (64), and steals (72). Ingerick also became the ninth Lady Hornet to score 1,000 career points, and first since 2010-11, with 18 points against Wyalusing.
Poirier earned Newcomer of the Year honors, 2nd team honors, and was named to the All-Rookie team. Poirier had a breakout year in her first full season on the Varsity team, scoring 268 points, leading the team in three-point shots made (15) and free throw percentage (.679). Poirier also led the Lady Hornets to a District IV championship berth with 29 points against Southern Columbia in the semi-finals.
