Three Hornet golfers had rounds in the 80's to lead the team to their second consecutive 2nd place finish at River Valley on Tuesday, August 30.
Sophomore Taynton Repard shot a career-low 83, sophomore Ben Barnett recorded a round of 84, and sophomore Brandyn Tuttle finished with an 87 as the Hornets shot 355 as a team for the 2nd place finish. Northern Tioga placed first with 340, North Penn-Mansfield was 3rd (380), Sayre was 4th (384), Northeast Bradford finished 5th (388), Towanda was 6th (403), and Athens was 7th (426).
Freshman Joseph Propheta scored 104, sophomore Chris Richardson came home with a 101, and junior Zach Lundgren finished with a 126 to round out the team's score.
The team is now 10-2 (10-2 NTL) on the year and currently sits behind Northern Tioga in the league standings. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 6 as they travel to Corey Creek.
