Hornet Volleyball sweeps Williamson

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Williamson 3-0 on Thursday, September 8.
Wellsboro won 25-22, 25-13, and 25-22 to improve to 2-0. Senior Morgan Florio led the Lady Hornets with 13 points, 2 aces, and 13 assists. Junior Brianne Keane had 16 assists, 7 kills, and 6 points, senior Kirsten Florio recorded 9 kills and made 4 blocks, and junior Sydney Tremper had 34 digs.
Junior Cheyenne Sherman recorded 9 digs, senior Olivia Kurtz scored 11 points and 2 aces, and junior Jillian Graver had 8 kills.
Wellsboro won the JV game 2-1 (14-25, 25-22, 16-14) to improve to 2-0 on the year.
The team will be back in action on Monday, September 12 in Coudersport.
