The Wellsboro Varsity Softball team kept their win streak going as they shut out Wyalusing 7-0 on Friday, May 1.
Freshman Alyssa Yungwirth capped off a strong week as she pitched a two-hit complete game for her fifth win of the year. She also led the Lady Hornets at the plate as she went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Senior Paige Carr was 1-for-3 with two RBI's, Senior Baylea Lehman was 1-for-2 with an RBI, Seniors Peyton Wilson and Jordan Butters were each 1-for-3, and Junior Sarah Ingerick was 1-for-4.
The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 13-1 (6-1 NTL Division 1). The team will be back in action on Monday, May 4 as they travel to Towanda.
