The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team picked up a 6-0 win over Williamson on Thursday, October 22.
Junior Kelsey Logan scored three of the Lady Hornets' first-half goals at 4:25, 18:43, and 34:32 to make it 3-0. Freshman Emma Poirier scored two goals on the night, one at 34:58 and the other at 41:07 to make the lead 5-0.
Sophomore Alyssa Yungwirth scored the game's final goal at 48:48 to end the scoring.
The Lady Hornets outshot Williamson 36-9 and had a 10-4 advantage in corner kicks.
The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 9-6-2 (8-3-2 NTL). The team will have their final regular season game on Saturday, October 24 at Mansfield.
