The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team scored 9 first-half goals en route to a 14-0 shutout of Williamson on Friday, October 9.
The Lady Hornets had two hat tricks on the night, as senior Lindsey Graver and freshman Emma Poirier both scored three goals each. Junior Kelsey Logan scored 1, seniors Brynn Ripley and senior Jenny Young scored 2, and senior Sarah Ingerick, junior Janessa Davis, and sophomore Kailee Clymer all added a goal each.
Freshman Julia Smith had 2 assists on the night while Graver, Logan, Ingerick, Poirier, and Young added 1 each. Clymer made 2 saves in goal to earn the win.
The girls improve to 7-4-1 (6-2-1 NTL). The team will be back in action on Tuesday, October 13 as they host Sayre.
