Junior Jada Jackson brought home two state medals as members of the track team competed at the PIAA State Track and Field meet on Friday and Saturday, May 22-23.
Jackson captured her first medal on Friday as she finished in 4th place in the long jump (17 ft 10.25 in). Later in the day Jackson and the 4x100m team of Senior Lauren Bleggi and Juniors Lindsey Graver and Raisa Rogers finished third in their heat with a time of 50.67 and just missed making the finals.
Also on Friday, Junior Rich Tardieu finished 14th in the triple jump (40 ft 6.75 in).
Jackson earned her second medal on Saturday as she finished 3rd in the triple jump (36 ft 11 in).
"It's really exciting to know I can get fourth in the long jump and third in the triple jump," Jackson said. "It's definitely the perfect ending to my season."
