The Wellsboro Boys Track team finished third with 66 points at the Coudersport Invite on Friday, May 1.
Senior Brieux Thibaut was 4th (11.76) in the 100m, Senior Kieron Smethers (23.47) was 2nd in the 200m with Thibaut (23.7) in the 4th. Smethers (52.34) won the 400m and Thibaut was 6th (54.74). Junior Isaac Leach (2:16.1) was 7th in the 800m with Junior Dakota Cleveland (2:20.72) in 10th, Leach was 5th in the 1600m (5:04.43) and Cleveland (5:10.56) was 8th, and Leach was 11th in the 3200m (11:47.3).
Senior Jack Chambers was 4th in the 110m hurdles (17.47) and 2nd in the 300m hurdles (42.01). The 4x100 team of Seniors Nick Marple and Smethers, Junior Rich Tardieu, and Sophomore Brandon Lamphier were third at 46.38, Smethers (5 ft 11 in), Tardieu (5 ft 9 in), and Marple (5 ft 9 in) were 2nd-4th in the high jump, Freshman Gabe Leach (8 ft) was 10th in the pole vault, and Tardieu (39 ft 1.75 in) and Thibaut (39 ft 1.5 in) were 4th and 5th in the triple jump.
Freshman Collin Pietropola (85 ft 7.5 in) was 16th in the discus and Lamphier (121 ft 10 in) was 10th in the javelin.
The boys will travel to North Penn for a tri-meet with the Panthers and Williamson later today for their final regular season meet.
