The Wellsboro Varsity Girls XC team beat Jersey Shore, while the boys lost, on Tuesday, October 20.
The girls won 27-32 while the boys lost 21-36.
For the girls, sophomore Anna Bleggi (22:25) was 2nd, senior Samantha Bailey (24:26) was 4th, senior Jordyn Coffee (25:06) was 6th, freshman Brooke Unangst (25:26) was 7th, freshman Taylor Romania (25:35) was 8th, freshman Zoe Iseri (25:47) was 9th, senior Camryn Keane (26:12) was 10th, freshman Rachel Chamberlain (27:16) was 13th, and freshman Kara Doane (27:16) was 14th.
For the boys, freshman Aidan Perry (18:24) was 2nd, junior Alden Weiner (19:31) was 6th, sophomore Connor Brought (20:07) was 7th, freshman Bergen Weiner (20:30) was 10th, junior Bryon Callahan (20:37) was 11th, freshman Zach Busch (20:43) was 12th, sophomore Kyle Wilson (21:53) was 15th, sophomore Logan Morral (23:08) was 20th, freshman Taylor Wheeler (24:23) was 21st, and sophomore Noah Smith (34:27) was 24th.
In the Middle School races, the girls won 22-33 while the boys lost 15-50. Dylan Tomb was the highest finisher for the boys in 4th place overall with a time of 11:09. Lucas Citrino (11:37) finished in 7th, followed by Jaime Palmer (11:54) in 8th and Kylie Butler (12:00) in 10th.
Both teams will be back in action for their final regular season meet on Thursday, October 22 as they host Coudersport.
