Senior Blair Carson and Junior Emilie Kramer each took home a silver medal at day two of District swimming Thursday night.
Carson and Kramer were both 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke and improved their seed times by three seconds each. Carson swam a time of 1:02.86 while Kramer recorded a time of 1:12.32.
The Hornets earned a total of 10 medals on the night, as Freshman Nathan Cotner, Freshman Olivia Kurtz, and Sophomore Mikayla Feil each earned medals. Cotner was 4th in the 100 Freestyle (50.27), Kurtz was 5th in the 100 Freestyle (57.6), and Feil was 6th 100 Freestyle at 57.97.
Senior Alex Kurtz rounded out the swimmers with a 14th place finish in the 100 Backstroke in 1:10.64.
With their second place finishes both days, Nathan, Emilie, Blair, and Mikayla all have a possible shot at states.
