The Wellsboro Middle School soccer team found themselves down early 1-0 against Williamson Wednesday afternoon.
Noah Fitch scored the lone goal for the Hornets with ten minutes left in the first half. Both teams had plenty of opportunities in the second half, but no one could find the back of the net. Kailee Clymer had another great day in goal saving the Hornets eight times. Nic Ingerick played another great defensive game helping to limit the Warriors opportunities.
With the tie, the Hornets are now 5-3-1 on the year. The team will be back in action on Wednesday, October 9 as they travel to Liberty.
