Everything seemed to be working for the Hornets on Saturday as they defeated the Galeton Tigers, 3-0.
Kailee Clymer was extremely impressive in goal securing the shutout with eight saves. The team played aggressive all sixty minutes limiting Galeton's opportunities. Noah Fitch was the first Hornet to score, heading a Tanner Runyan free kick into the back of the net midway through the first half.
Wellsboro entered the second half up 1-0. Brett Rudy scored off a Noah Fitch assist seven minutes into the second half. Tanner Runyan had the third goal of the game. Tanner put a long shot on goal forty yards out lofting the shot over the keeper's head into the back of the net.
With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-3.
