MS soccer dows Sayre, 6-2

The Wellsboro Middle School soccer team won their third straight game as they defeated Sayre 6-2 Wednesday night.
Wellsboro challenged the Redskin defense early and often and finally found the back of the net twelve minutes into the first half. Wellsboro maintained possession throughout most of the game.
Gabe Leach, Brett Rudy, and Devin Webster all scored twice for the Hornets, while Adam Cornell, Gabe Leach, and Tanner Runyan all recorded assists.
With the win, the team improves to 3-2 on the year and will be back in action on Monday, September 23 as they travel to Northern Potter.
