MS Lady Hornets top Mansfield, 32-12

The Wellsboro Middle School Lady Hornets picked up a 32-12 win over rival Mansfield Tuesday night in front of the home crowd.
Rachael Tuttle led all scorers with 8 points and 5 rebounds. Sydney Tremper and Autum Kitajima added 6 points each. Lizzie Poirier and Brianne Keane chipped in 4 points each and Jessica Grab and Kaeli Butters added 2 points.
"We got the job done on the defensive end of the floor tonight to put the game away early, while getting all of our girls playing time and experience," said head coach Darrell Morris.
In the B game, the Lady Hornets won 13-9.
With the win, the A team improves to 9-6 on the year. The team will be back in action on Thursday, March 20 as they travel to Galeton.
