The Wellsboro boys tennis doubles teams competed in District play Monday, but both were eliminated.
The team of Seniors Spencer Kreisler and Josh Cooper fell to Lewisburg's Jordan Massoud and Bryan Speake 6-2, 6-1 in the opening round of the day. The pair of Junior Aaron Dillman and Senior Garrett Carr reached the quarterfinals, before having their run end against Lewisburg.
In the opening round Dillman and Carr defeated Mikey Fornwalt and Josh Lloyd of Muncy, 6-0, 6-0 and in the second round they won 6-1, 6-00 over Rilan Galicic and Ty Stugart of Hughesville. In the quarterfinals, Dillman and Carr took the first set against Lewisburg's Mike McCormack and Russ Nash, 7-5, but they dropped the next two sets, 6-4, 6-3.
