6 members of the Wellsboro swim team qualified for the District 4 swim meet later this season.
Senior Bobby Hill qualified in both the 50 Freestyle (23.24) and the 100 Freestyle (52.12), Junior Blair Carson qualified in the 100 Butterfly (1:01.10) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.72) for the boys events.
In the girls events, Sophomore Emilie Kramer qualified in the 200 IM (2:29.44), the 50 Freestyle (28.72), and the 100 Breaststroke (1:19.35), Freshman Mikayla Feil qualified in the 50 Freestyle (28.23) and in the 100 Breaststroke (1:21.01), Junior Alex Kurtz qualified in the 50 Freestyle (28.56), the 100 Freestyle (1:04.90), and the 100 Backstroke (1:14.23), and Senior Brittany Redell qualified in the 200 IM (2:29.88), the 100 Freestyle (1:00.87), and in the 100 Backstroke (1:09.65).
The Hornets' next meet will take place on Saturday, February 9 as they take place in the Williamsport Coaches Invitational.
