The Wellsboro Varsity volleyball team fell to Williamson in 3 sets last night on the road. The Hornets lost 25-16, 25-18, 25-21 to drop the match.
Senior Hannah Zuchowski led Wellsboro with 11 kill,s 15 digs, and six points. Junior Maggie Smith had six kills and eight points, while Senior Mackenzie Marple had five kills, 15 digs, and 12 assists. Junior Alex Kurtz pitched in 10 assists.
In JV action, the Hornets fell to Williamson 23-25 and 22-25 to fall to 8-3 on the year.
The Varsity team is now 7-4 overall (4-3 NTL West). The team will be back in action on Tuesday, October 9 as they host Canton.
