The Wellsboro Middle School boys bball team picked up their fourth win of the season as they defeated Williamson, 46-20. Dawson Prough did a great job distributing the ball (7 assists) and had 10 rebounds. Joe Allen shot very well (6-7 in the second half) and had 17 point to lead a more balanced scoring attack. Tony Cooper and Wyatt Wood had 4 points and Evan Bair, Brandon Lamphier, James Mundy and Nick Tremper each had 2 points. Nick Tremper again did a good job playing a much bigger inside player.
In the B-Team game, Wellsboro won 25-11. Jake Singer shot very well and scored 12 points while Brandon Bower and Brandon Lamphier each had 4 points.
With the win, Wellsboro improves their record to 4-4 on the year. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, March 20, as they host Cowanesque Valley.
