"We had a tough test tonight with Liberty's Chelsea Repard who scored 11 points in the first half (15 for the game)," said head coach Darrell Morris. "We played excellent team defense in the 3rd quarter, while going on a 15-2 run to pull away."
In the B-Team game, Wellsboro won 28-8.
With the win, the Hornets improve their record to 8-1 overall. The team will be back in action on Friday, March 9, as they host Mansfield.
