Middle School boys bball drops Liberty

The Middle School boys basketball team improves to .500 on the season as they defeated Liberty 39-15 last night in Wellsboro. A total of eight players scored points for the Hornets, who were led by Joe Allen's 14. Dawson Prough (8), Wyatt Wood (4), Nick Tremper (4), Tony Cooper (3), and James Mundy (3) all contributed in the win.

"Dawson Prough did a great job of distributing the ball with 6 assists," said head coach Dan Marple.

In the B-Team game, Wellsboro won 33-12. Brandon Lamphier had 9 points, Jake Singer and Brandon Bower had 6 points, and Ethan Nichols had 4 points.

The Hornets will be back in action on Friday, March 9, as they host Mansfield.
