JV Softball picks up first wins of season

The Wellsboro JV softball team picked up their first wins of the season yesterday against the Sayre Redskins. The Hornets offense exploded against Sayre as they combined for 41 points in the double header.
In the first game, the Hornets won 20-5 in four innings. In the second game, the Hornets won 21-2 in the third inning. With the wins, the team improves their 2012 season record to 2-4.
The team will be back in action on Thursday, May 3, as they travel to Troy.
