Hornet baseball shuts out Galeton

The Wellsboro Varsity baseball team improved to 3-0 on the 2012 season as they shut out Galeton in 3 innings, 28-0. Junior Ben Shaw was 3-for-4 with a 2-run home run while Pat Herres went 3-for-3 with a solo home run to lead the Hornets. Brandon Owlett also went 3-for-4 while Luke Rudy had a solo home run.
Senior Thomas Johnston got the win, going one inning while Herres and Owlett pitched one inning each. The team will be back in action on Monday, April 16, as they travel to Williamson.
