Hornets win in slop in Galeton

The Hornets boys soccer team picked up a win in the slop over in Galeton, 3-2. Senior Darby Alafoginis picked up his 48th and 49th career goals on the night. The first goal came in the 17th minute off a penalty kick and the second came in the 77th minute off an assist from Pat Herres. Senior Zach Pearson added in the other goal in the 69th minute on an assist from Herres.
With the win the boys improve to 5-2-1 overall on the year. The team will be in action tomorrow night as they host Liberty. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
