Hornets top Troy

The Hornets topped Troy in NTL girls soccer action on Saturday, 3-0. Sarah Kramer, Victoria Pearson, and Jennifer Evans all scored for the Hornets, while Taylor Acorn and Brooke Kohler added assists. Defensively, Sherri Hovis picks up her first shutout of the 2011 season and recorded 12 saves. With the win, the Hornets improve to 2-1 overall.
In JV action, the Hornets fell to Troy, 4-0.
In Middle School action, the Hornets picked up wins ove Williamson (5-1) and Northern Potter (8-1) to improve to 4-0 overall.
