In their first home game, the Wellsboro boys soccer team came out strong as they continued to improve on their form this season by defeating Williamson, 5-0. Senior Darby Alafoginis scored 26 seconds into the game. Sam Mitchel then scored an amazing goal with a shot from 30 yards away. Darby then scored one more to end the first half and two more during the second half.

Wellsboro's defense held up during a week when players were shifted around and younger players were starting to step up. The Hornets will be in action again this Thursday, September 15 at Liberty. Game time is scheduled for 4:0 p.m.
