Hornets pull out 2OT win over Galeton

After four long weeks of preseason, the Wellsboro boys soccer team picked up a 2-1 double OT win at Galeton. Wellsboro took the lead around 30 minutes into the first half on Dan Brooks first varisty goal, off an assist from Austin Dragovich. Galeton then scored off of a throw in that slipped through the hands of Wellsboro goalie Luke Sampson with 18 minutes to go in the game. Darby scored unassisted with 4 minutes to go in the 2nd overtime.
The Hornets will be in action on Tuesday, September 13 as they travel to Williamson.
