Hornets blank Williamson

The boys soccer team shut out Williamson 2-0 in NTL action Saturday morning at Williamson. Senior Caleb Weiss scored in the first minute to put Wellsboro up 1-0 off an assit from James Langs. Cody DeHaas scored the second goal in the 49th minute to clinch the game for the Hornets.
With the win, Wellsboro improves their record to 7-5-1 overall and 7-2 in the NTL. In JV action, Williamson defeated Wellsboro 3-1. Freshman Jack Chambers had the only goal. The team will be back in action Tuesday, October 18 as they host Liberty. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
