Hornet Boys Win Holiday Tournament

The Hornets boys basketball team got 19 points from Jordan Jackson to beat Bellefonte in the Booster Club Holiday Tournament Championship game. Matt Reese had 11 points, Sam Mitchell and Joey Doganiero had six points each for Wellsboro, and Michael Pietropola and Ben Shaw had three points each.

Chase Barnes, Billy Sell and Brandon Pierce all had two points and Nick Marple finished with one point. Mitchell had eight rebounds and Pierce had five boards in the victory.

Jackson was named Tournament MVP and Reese was named to the All-Tournament team. With the win, the Varsity team improves to 5-0 and will resume play after the New Year against the Williamson Warrirors on January 3rd.
