Hornets Fall to Lewisburg

For the second straight week, Wellsboro faced a tough opponent, this week in the Lewisburg Green Dragons. Lewisburg jumped out to a quick 27-0 first quarter lead after Lewisburg's defense returned two interceptions for touchdowns and ran for two more on offense. Lewisburg was able to add two more touchdowns in the second quarter to stretch the lead to 47-0.
Lewisburg scored two more touchdowns in the second half to push the final score to 54-0. The Hornets travel to Wyalusing next Friday night to take on the Rams. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. For directions, use the Interactive Map.
