The Wellsboro J.V. team traveled to Athens on Saturday, October 11 for a 11:00 a.m. contest with the Athens Wildcats. The Hornets came ready to play on their only Saturday game of the year, but eventually fell to Athens, 12-0.

The Wellsboro Hornets dropped their first Homecoming game in two years to Athens, 40-7.
