Middle School Hornets fall to Williamson

The Wellsboro Middle School soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Williamson on Saturday, September 14.

The score was tied 0-0 at the half. Williamson scored 3 goals in the second half to win the game. Wellsboro took 3 shots on goal to Williamson's 8.  Keeper Annie Gehman had 5 saves in the goal.

Wellsboro tied the B game 1-1 on a Jack Bryant goal in the 15th minute of the second half. Wellsboro had 4 shots on goal. Keeper Owen Stevens had 3 save and Keeper Braeden Abernathy had 2 saves in the goal.

The loss drops the Hornets' record to 2-1-1. The team will be back in action on the road at Galeton on Monday, September 16.
